Produer/DJ/Mixer duo K-Salaam & Beatnick are currently working on a remix album featuring the music of Chi-Town's own Common.
Their Common remix album will be titled S.T.O.R.Y. (Stories Told Over Remixed Years).
Once completed, the duo will be making it the album available for free download everywhere.
"Hip-Hop is at the worst state that it's ever been in. Somebody somewhere has to do something. It might as well be us," say Beatnick & K-Salaam of the album, which they decided to create as not only a salute to the iconic rapper, but also to combat the current stale state that they feel rap music is in right now.
